Back at the Helm

Sorry for the delay in posts, Had a fairly eventful first week back in Nigeria and haven't really had time to get things together to write.

Basically I've been working on finding out how to reward our staff at our project office who've been verifying the data. It's quite tough to come up with a formula based on what they've been doing. number of forms they've checked and number of errors they've corrected all need to be rewarded.

The forms are being filed nicely now, we can quickly locate a street, and most of the forms seem to be sorted so you can quickly find a particular address.

We are pushing to complete phase 1 on 14th Feb, Valentines Day. After that we start Phase 2 in anticipation of getting the contract sorted.

I've got my KiSS DVD player working with my amp and speaker setup, but I've only got a 14" TV that was spare, I've got some cash to get that but I'd better reclaim some of my expenses before buying it so that I'm sure I can have enough cash to last February.

N... has been assisting me in the project office and she seems to really like her work, and she's a real help to me, especially with the paperwork I've had to do with the verification stuff. I Interviewed a guy to help me out with my work but he was only experienced in Networking and PC hardware problems, not Linux and no programming experience so I don't see that as a full-time job, so unless he's interested in a data entry position he can't help much.
