Music and Stuff I miss

I've ordered the new Green Day album, based purely on the 'Boulevard of Broken dreams' track. I liked 'American Idiot' but it was a tad too political for me to want to buy it, but BoBD is to me, an example of REAL music. I'm tired of all the Coldplay clones that have dominated all the tracks I've been hearing, finally a real rock record, not a 'Greatest Hits' (Pixies) and with no 'tongue in cheek' (The Darkness).

I'm also looking forward to the manic street preachers lifeblood album, mainly because it's the first new album since 'Know Your Enemy' and I thought the Love of Richard Nixon Track was a bit weak, probably because I don't really care about Richard Nixon, except he's Quite funny in Futurama, but 1985 is a Manics classic, and according to reviews this album is one of their greats.

I've got notification that a huge pile of cd's and dvds have arrived at home so I'm hoping these are among them, ready for me to enjoy when I get home.

N... got to see a pharmacist today about her eye that's been giving her trouble since a policeman slapped her. Unfortunately the Pharmacist only specialised in Gynaecology so that wasn't much use! She didn't have time to get to the optician so she promised me she'll try tomorrow.

The Data Entry staff are really responding to the new Bonus system most of them are really trying to get over 150 forms entered a day, some are even approaching 250! I just hope they are keeping up with the quality.

The Utility company want to see the Ikoyi forms next week so I've promised to try to clean up some of the more obvious problems. I personally started work on checking the forms, and I hope to get over early tomorrow to work on them. The Utility company staff haven't been turning up, just making us wonder where they are exactly.

Just heard on Sky news that board games are selling very well this year. Weird, I was browsing amazon for board games yesterday but couldn't find any of the ones recommended to me. If you want a good board game, look at what the Germans are playing. Germans are to Board Games what Canadians are to Maple Syrup.
