Back in the UK!

I arrived safely this morning at 5am UK time and cought a 7 o'clock bus to Newport. Got to Newport around 10:20am and took a taxi from the bus station to home.

Dan was up thankfully and opened the door for me, Mum had gone to pick up Dad at Cardiff Airport. He flew with KLM which meant he could go from Cardiff via Amsterdam.

In my bedroom was a huge pile of post and parcels, mostly cd's and dvds that I ordered while in Lagos. I've been listening to them all day so far.

I just came back from an appointment at my optitian for a contact lens checkup. Apparently I've just picked up an infection, and I need to stop wearing lenses for a while. Bummer! The infection is only in my left eye so it is only recent. most likely from the plane journey last night!
